WordCamp Seattle 2012 is SOLD OUT!

Wow, it happened. We put 300 tickets on sale on Feb. 15. And three weeks later we are sold out!

Will we be selling more? Unfortunately not. There just isn’t any more room. Bummer, huh?

But there are a couple of ways you might still snag a ticket.

Right now we have the number of volunteers we feel are needed. But that could change. We might find out that we need a few more. And then, of course, stuff happens, and someone who did sign up might have to bow out… so volunteers get a free ticket and if you can put your name on the volunteer waiting list.

The second option is WordCamp Seattle is still two months away. Chances are there might be a few people out there who purchased a ticket and find they cannot attend. We will be posting tickets that current attendees put back up for sale due to an inability to attend. Subscribe to our updates and we’ll notify everyone of any tickets that come back up for sale.

So for those of you who did get a ticket, are we excited yet?

Absolutely excited! Have attended 2 WC PHX conferences and the wealth of information was great! Looking forward to seeing the schedule and hope there will be some wp.com classes on the agenda for those who are still transitioning from .com to .org.

    • Bob Dunn says:

Hey Jeanette, glad to hear you are excited… and hopefully some of the tracks will pertain to both .com and .org.

  2. Glad I took action right away!

would love to be on the ticket wait list if someone is unable to
attend. yeah, know that you can’t be in charge of whether peeps
let you know – but if you hear of some opportunity – would like to
jump on that one! sheesh – should have signed up b4, huh?????
    sheesh!

What we will do as it gets closer is to shout out to attendees and see if anyone cannot use their ticket. Then we’ll post their names on the site here and let everyone work things out for themselves… if you want to be notified, make sure you subscribe to this site.

Ack! So much for waiting for the agenda / list of speakers to be posted before registering. I guess a bigger venue would have been more appropriate, eh? There are going to be a LOT of very disappointed folks, I imagine.

    • Bob Dunn says:

Yeah, I know.. often how these WordCamps work. But on one hand, for $20, you can’t really go wrong. And as you see, there will be lots of people looking for tickets that can’t be used. Of course, we aren’t talking scalping ; )

Actually, we put them up for sale in plenty of time as you never know how fast they will go. It varies from year to year. And a larger venue, will, that would be great. But it is always challenging to find one that will fit our budget and time frame. We felt pretty lucky to get SAM this year!

mmmm, maybe Century Link Field next year ; )

  5. Hey, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Ie, it looks fine but when opening
in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Other then that, amazing blog!
